The Outside-In Tour Of Fashion Week Goes Upside-Down
While sitting at the Sass and Bide show and then Akiko Ogawa show at Fashion week, I felt troubled about the fall trends. Too edgy and too militantly baboushka for my classic and pacifist tastes.

I apparently was a smidgen too bewitched. After a young, handsome gent blathered some flattering but inappropriate comments to me after the fashion show, I moved quickly to extricate myself from his verbiage and ended up literally running into the raised runway. Bam! The runway hit me above the knees and below the pelvis, causing my body to thrust forward into a 90-degree splat, which resulted in embarrassing catwalk face burn. Oh, did I experience the inside-out upside-down tour on the catwalk or what? C'est la vie. (Note to self: Jeez, Girl-Woman, you have to slow down. And don't be so flattered by a snow job.)
Speaking of a snow job, the northeastern half of the United States is getting blasted once again by another snowstorm. But on Friday, the last day of the outside-in tour, I will try to warm you up with my fave wearable classic but trendy fall pieces from the Fashion Show collection. So worry not, girls. There are still smart clothes that we women could pluck right off the runway and feel comfy wearing on the street.
Cheers.
