Manic Monday Giveaway: Silk'n SensEpil In-Home Laser Hair Removal Device

Posted on Jan 11, 2010 at 5:02AM

Another Manic Monday and another giveaway to soothe those frazzled Manic Monday nerves.

Both Mother Blogger and The Working Girl are feeling The Fraz this Monday morning.   They both have been on the go since 4:00 a.m. -- one with the voms; the other taking The Hubs to the airport.

So let's all close our eyes.  Breathe in through our noses and hold to the count of eight. Exhale to the count of fourRepeat twice.

Feeling less frazzled?

No?

Well, maybe the Silk'n SensEpil, a portable, FDA-cleared device that offers the visual results of in-office laser hair removal in the convenience and privacy of your own home worth $499 will soothe those Manic Monday nerves -- and hairs!

picture of Silk'n SensEpil hair removal deviceWhat it does:
Silk'n SensEpil™ is an over-the-counter innovation that delivers the clinically proven effectiveness of the well-established, market-leading Silk'n™ sold by physicians. This breakthrough product harnesses the power of proprietary Home Pulsed Light™ (HPL™) technology to create a cutting-edge, safe, user-friendly hair-eliminating solution. Look no further if you want a quick, gentle, safe, and affordable way to diminish unwanted body hair. This must-have device and replacement cartridges provide a lifetime of personal treatments at a fraction of the cost of physician office visits.

Each packaged unit comes with:
- Silk'n SensEpil device
- Instructional DVD
- Quick start guide and user's manual
- Lamp cartridge (with 750 pulses)
- Power cord

What else you need to know:
With just two-to-four self-treatment sessions, most users experience visually diminished hair that is comparable to results produced by professionally administered laser procedures. User satisfaction and clinical results speak for themselves:

- 80% of users experienced a noticeable reduction in hair after 3 months.
- 90% preferred using Silk'n to visiting a spa or salon.
- 90% said they would recommend Silk'n to a friend.
- 90% described Silk'n as convenient, easy, useful, and innovative.

The Silk'n SensEpil device features state-of-the-art, skin-sensing technology that dramatically increases the safety of the already safe and reliable Silk'n brand. SensEpil's built-in skin sensor will only activate a pulse of light energy onto appropriate skin types, ensuring maximal safety. Dr. Tina Alster, Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Georgetown University Medical Center, states that, "Silk'n SensEpil is the safest, most effective, and most cost efficient home-use laser hair removal device to be launched this season."

Safety Information:
It is designed for use on legs, arms, underarms, bikini lines, and other areas of the body where hair removal is desired; it is not recommended for use on the face. This tool is ideal for use with lighter skin tones (I - IV on the Fitzpatrick Skin Tone Classification Scale) and brown-to-black hair.

Oh I really need this. I have been checking into electrolysis and I am so needle phobic - I don't think I can do it. And Laser really does not work on light hair so I would love to win this!

Too bad they haven't come up with something for the face that works. When you get older you are surprised to learn that the hair on your face is getting longer and more coarse. No more leg shaving or armpit shaving is a very good thing though.

I like that it only takes 2-4 sessions! You can take care of a few areas and be hair free for spring break! Just throw on your swimsuit without wondering "did I remember to shave?".

Oh this would be a fantastic prize! For some reason I get quite irritated when shaving sensitive areas like my underarms. Just 2-4 sessions to relieve me of that irritation would be amazing!

I have light skin and nearly black hair. I really think this might work for me. Shaving less would be awesome. Even when I shave, it grows back so fast and the stubbles are so apparent.

I also have a very light skin, dark brown hair and very coarse thick hair on my legs (yes, gross!). i went for a consultation to one of the laser centers in my city but the price seemed exorbiant ($800 for one underarm?!!!).... I like that many brands are starting to come up with at home laser treatments- smart idea!

This is such a great giveaway. I have wanted to do laser hair removal for a long time but have been put off by the cost and the need to find time to go somewhere to have it done. If I could do something similar at home when I have the time it would be fantastic. I only wish it worked on your face as well.
