It was fascinating to hear about how much artificial ingredients can affect the skin and how that then affects some bodily processes. I love how much thought and effort Whole Foods seems to have put into their premium natural body care and cosmetic products! I also know exactly what the interviewer was talking about when it comes to artificial fragrances: they do smell ridiculously strong.

It's been a long time since I've gone to Whole Foods, but this might be enough to get me to make the trek. I really love how much effort has gone into creating these cosmetics, so I'm excited to try them! Thanks : )

Podcast had good points - your skin is the largest organ of your body and has very important functions. I haven't made the switch to all natural/no preservatives etc. but this gives me more reason to do so. I just have a hard time giving up my tried and trues, even if they're full of parabens and formaldehyde, yuck!

It is so great to see how an increasingly amount of companies and make-up manufacturers are getting into the swing of natural products, enviromental pro-ethics and cruelty-free testing! It makes me feel a LOT better about my purchases!!!

If you use make-up daily it is so important to be cognizant of what ingredients you are putting on your skin. This podcast is so informative and the product is something I would be interested in
my cosmetic regime!

What a great podcast. I really never think I will absorb my lotion, but it makes sense. I really liked the functions of skin explained.

I love Whole Foods approach to their grocery products, and to be honest, I had no idea they were involved with make up as well! I love that they take so much time to make sure the ingredients they put in are natural and safe (not like the other stuff out there full of harsh chemicals).

I really just can't believe what gross stuff is in some of the things I use on my face!!! I love that this stuff is fragrance-free...or without artificial fragrance. I have this one lipstick...I absoultely LOVE the color...but I can't even bear to wear it because it smells like fake roses!!! Like what a bathroom freshener smells like!!! EWWW! It just drives me bonkers! I'd love to try this kit out. Thanks so much!!! Smiling

Hi, unless I'm nuts, I could not find a field to put my comment after watching the podcast. Therefore, I submit my comment here. If you can find the field and put the http://girl-woman-beauty-brains-blog.com/ link in there for me, I' d appreciate it. I love the natural elements of the products, I have totally gotten away from synthetic everything!
