How To Get Sleek, Shiny, Straight Hair with Pantene Pro-V Collection

Pantene Pro-V Nature Fusion Collection

Coutorture Must Read

Mother Blogger attempts to eat her five veggies a day, let the beagle take HER for a walk on a daily basis, and use a more natural approach to her beauty routine without sacrificing performance.  She recently discovered Pantene Pro-V Nature Fusion Collection, which provided her with a healthy alternative to hair care at an affordable price.

Nature Fusion Collection contains an advanced Cassia Complex that creates an invisible layer of protection against the friction caused by brushes and combs running through the hair while it's wet. Once dry, the Cassia Complex formula boosts hair’s shine.

Anti-Aging Alert:  As Mother Blogger struggled to grow our the layers in her hair, she also noticed that the lack of shine in her hair was aging her!  Thanks to the cassia herb that's infused in Nature Fusion, Mother Blogger looked twenty years younger after using Pantene's new collection.

Jamie:  Ahem, Mom!

Mother Blogger:  Okay, a few years younger.

Oh, Mother Blogger has tried everything to duplicate the sleek and straight hair that her salon artiste, Kevin Q, accomplishes in his salon, but to her dismay, her unruly cowlicks and her newly-obtained menopausal curls looked like a three-ring circus performing on her head.  But Pantene spokesperson Stacy London taught her a few new hair tricks.

Step 1: To get long hair straight and shiny, the first step is to start with healthy hair. Wash with Pantene Beautiful Lengths Shampoo and Conditioner for hair that’s up to 10 times stronger* against damage. *Shampoo and conditioner Vs. non-conditioning shampoo.

Step 2: Pin wet hair up, leaving the bottom section loose. Spray Pantene Volume Root Lifting Spray Gel through damp hair for extra lift. Blow dry using a medium-sized round brush, holding the brush horizontally to avoid too much curl for this sleek look. Angle the nozzle down as you dry for the ultimate smoothness and shine. Once you get to the top section of hair, hold brush vertically for extra body.

Step 3: Starting at the front of your head, loosely curl hair back with a large-barreled curling iron. Roll the just-curled section into a large Velcro roller. As you move back along your head, substitute smaller rollers to give the underside some lift. Set curls with Pantene Ice Shine Hairspray

Step 4: Remove rollers and brush through with a flat brush. Smooth the curls into a straight style by loosely running a straightening iron through your hair. To get the ultimate long-hair look, always use Pantene—because healthy makes it happen.

(NOTE:  Mother Blogger sugguests using a 100 percent boar bristle brush while styling.  The boar bristle closes the cuticle of the hair which reduces the frizzies and adds shine to your hair.)
