Afternoon Delight.  Delightful 29-year-old cover of February 2009 Elle magazine featuring Kate Hudson in a yellow Dior dressKate Hudson looks like a sunshine on a cloudy day in her yellow Dior dress on the February 2009 cover of Elle.

What we love about Kate:  Jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer, Tobey Maguire's wife, who has been a longtime friend of Kate, tattles on Kate. Jennifer recalls Kate getting sent home for wearing her skirts too short.  Yours truly -- not the Mother Blogger -- was reprimanded more than once for trying to make a school uniform her own.  It's authenticity at its best!
