Dress Shields

Why did I make a mad dash to Clares last Saturday minutes before a wedding? To purchase Dress Shields Behind The Seams Underarm Protectors.
Playing the role of professional photographer for a wedding last weekend had me in an unadulterated tizzy. First and foremost, I'm not a professional photog. My Nikon camera and Nikon Nikkor Telephoto lens - 300 mm - F/2.8 - Nikon F camera equipment fluffs up my paparazzi illusion, but that's all it is -- an illusion.
Playing the same role at a wedding a few years ago, I was so nervous about getting the best shots, that I came down with a case of Brohidrosis -- body odor. Yes, BO!
The stink was so distinct that I had to trash my expensive frock.
Scientifically speaking, body odor (Brohidrosis), is the smell of bacteria growing on the body. These bacteria multiply considerably in the presence of sweat, but sweat itself is almost totally odorless. Stress can cause the aporcrine glands to constrict, developing more sweat from the skin.
For this gig, I was going to be prepared for an attack of Brohidrosis caused by those BO bacteria culprits -- micrococci, staphylococci, aerobic and anaerobic corneforms, and pityrosporum species!
I dashed to Clares on the way to the wedding and bought Dress Shields Behind The Seams Underarm Protectors (12 Pads) by Hollywood Fashion Tape and on the way to the church, I applied the disposable, super thin, self-adhesive dress shields. The outside of the dress shield is moisture-proof while the inside is soft like a baby's diaper and almost as absorbent.
When finished wearing the shield, you simply discard it rather than your expensive frock.
If you have a heavy perspiration problem, you might need to check with your doc about Botox, but for almost any other occasion, these dress shields are your best defense.
You might want to use Dress Shields if...
- you want to save your favorite pink silk blouse or LBD.
- you want to cut down on dry-cleaning bills.
- you simply need extra protection with certain colors and fabrics.
- you really want to make sure there is no embarrassing wetness for that important holiday party, blind date, or interview.
- you -- (Add your own reason here).
