Manic Monday Giveaway from Shopflick

Posted on Nov 10, 2008 at 5:41AM

Monday, Monday, can't trust that day. Shopflick and GWBBB are giving away 5 bath desserts, an eco-friendly bag, and a manicure pen valued at over $40.

One of our fave ways to cure the Manic Monday blues is to soak in a tub.  Turn your tub into a bubbling oasis with Hemp Seed Oil Infused Fizz Balls. This luxurious oil will literally melt into your skin as you relax and soak. This fragrant treat will turn your tub into a moisturizing event you will want to repeat every day! Available in Tangerine Sage, Lemongrass, Lavender and unscented. *Please be careful stepping into and out of the bath, it may be slippery due to the hemp seed oil in the Fizz Ball.

After de-tubbing, grab your tote from the Envirosax line of Greengrocer bags, chic eco-friendly style is epitomized. Simple and versatile, this tote will save you from needlessly wasting plastic and paper bags at the grocery store, but it can also accompany you to the beach, pool, playground, mall, or anywhere else your busy life takes you. Better yet, the tote is so graceful, nobody will know you're exercising your social consciousness. These lightweight polyester bags boast a waterproof backing and hold up to two plastic bags worth of groceries. Now we can feel good about minimizing our environmental footprint while carrying our organic produce in genuinely green fashion.

This free giveaway is topped off with a French tip Manicure Magic Pen to help erase those Manic Monday snags.

Leave a comment as to how you make your Monday less manic. Don't forget to leave your email address.  (To alleviate spammers, please spell out email address. For example: girlwomanbeautybrainsblog at gmail dot com.)

The free giveaway ends at midnight on Sunday, November 16, 2008.  Winners will be chosen at random from among the entrants. The lucky winner will be announced on November 17, 2008. (U.S.  and Canadian residents only.)

Have a Manic-Free Monday!

I like to fill the bathtub up with a nice smelling bubble bath, grab a good book, and wait until I start resembling a prune before getting out and crawling into bed with my kitty (and the boyfriend if he's lucky! lol). Those really are the best nights...

On Monday mornings I do one special thing like use an expensive body lotion or a great sugar scrub in the shower. It makes the day special.

I never cook on Monday nights. Our local pizza place reverts to their 1950's prices every Monday night and we go out for pizza and relaxation every week. It's a great way to cap off the weekend and start a new week! Thanks for offering this nice prize!

I honestly lay out my clothing and my daughter's clothing the night before (after checking the weather report) and put all of our things by the front door that we need, like purse, bookbag, reusable grocery bags. First thing Monday morning is our toughest time because we are still on "relax and chill" weekend mode. Doing these basic things help us get back into the weekday mode.

Less manic? I have three kids under the age if three--impossible. Lowered expectations, I guess, and don't plan on a huge, labor-intensive dinner.
